Spring has sprung?

Today I decided to do a little mobile computing. No big deal, right? I have taken my Powerbook on location many times. However, this is the first time I can remember having work to do, looking outside and deciding that I have to sit outside somewhere in order to continue working. And you know what, it’s nice. It’s also my first time to use the free wireless internet that is provided to the whole downtown area. Free wi-fi always makes the day a little brighter.

We have had almost non-stop rain in the Santa Rosa area for the past few weeks and it is starting to get old. I think I have heard all the ‘time to build an arc’-type jokes I can stomach for one year. You can tell that everyone was getting a little stir crazy because there are so many people bustling around today. And, apparently, people with loud motorcycles have more post-rain frustration saved up than the rest of us.

Could this be the beginning of spring? I sure hope so. It is nice to wear short sleeves again.
