So this is my little piece of the world wide web. My little sandbox in the corner of the playground. This blog strictly exists for my entertainment and a need to create something that is entirely mine. I don’t fancy myself as a particularly good writer or even that interesting of a person. I’m rather normal and lead my normal life under normal circumstances.

I am, however, fascinated by good blogs, good writing and excellent design. So that is what has lead me to create redplaidshirt. This is a place where I can practice my writing, design and coding skills. I am a web designer who is determined to leave behind the nested table-based web design of the late ’90s and eager to learn the ways of web standards. I plan to use this site as a testing ground for new and exciting CSS code. Doesn’t that sound juicy?
